Privacy policy

This policy explains how Technelabs handles the personal data of people who visit technelabs.pt and people who use our apps (MetalPro, Captio and our other products).

01Data controller

02What data we collect

On the website: the email address you enter when subscribing and the language you choose, which is stored only in your browser. Our hosting provider logs technical access data (IP address, browser, date and time) for security purposes.

In the apps: your account details (name, email, company) and the data you enter in your daily work, such as customers, orders, quotes and invoices.

Payments: these are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

03Why we use your data

To create and maintain your account and provide the service you subscribed to (performance of a contract).

To issue invoices and meet tax obligations (legal obligation).

To keep the service secure and answer support requests (legitimate interest).

We do not sell data or use it for third-party advertising.

04Your customers' data

The data you store in the apps about your own customers and contacts belongs to you. For that data, your company is the controller and Technelabs acts as a processor, handling it only to provide the service, under Article 28 of the GDPR.

05Who else has access

We use providers that process data on our behalf: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (website hosting). Some may process data outside the European Economic Area; in those cases the transfer is protected by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or an equivalent mechanism.

06How long we keep data

We keep account data while your subscription is active and delete it within 90 days after it ends, unless the law requires longer. Billing records are kept for 10 years, as required by Portuguese tax law.

07Cookies

The website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. It only stores your chosen language in your browser, which is needed for the site to work and does not require consent. If this changes, we will ask for your consent first.

08Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and object to its processing, by writing to geral@victum.pt. We reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD, www.cnpd.pt) or to the authority in your own country.

09Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date.
